so...i've been playing shadow of the colossus a little...
i haven't finished, i've only killed two of them, actually. so far, i've spent about 5 hours just roaming around...
which is fun in its own kind of way. its a beautiful world, isn't it? they should make a camera mode or a version with more wildlife that you can just explore...
anyway, the japanese lettering just says "niko" or nico, which is what it was being called at first (i'm sure you know the relationship)...
to put it short, its by the same guys who made ico, and "ni" is 2 in japanese, so its like saying 2co. of course, i'm sure you've all heard that already...
......
its kind of sad isn't it?
killing these creatures...its not like they're seeking you out themselves...and is it worth it? so many of them dead, for one girl saved? an unsure warrior...
yet, i wonder...
why are they here? they don't fit in...they're too large to work with the land around them...they all seem to be one-of-a-kind...alone... i feel a little sorry for them. why must i disturb them? end their lives? do they feel it? impending doom...
i'm sorry.
I've watched some guy beat the game real quick-like,
I don't understand most of the point of the story either;
but as a game it is very interesting.
I love seeing the designs of these beings that spring to life when you are near,
and the almost insane puzzels that are required to solve in order to defeat these behemoths.
I just love watching the challenges.
The guy makes the game look too easy.
ive been intersted in playing this game im tempted too get it and that is messed up you kill a one-of-a-kind creature for 1 everyday lady 0-o..........ironic

It reminds me of the artwork from the FLCL and Q.KO mangas. But, that doesn't matter. I really enjoyed your description; I wasted 4 hours just looking at everything, arrowing lizards and eating fruits and falling through pixellated rocks (yes...it happened twice).
You bring up a good point. The colossi are really not doing anything. But, if you think about it, you're something for them to deal with. When Wander is all *runs around and wakes them up* they're all just...sitting. Y'know? Sometimes you'd rather be dead than just.....there. Just sometimes. I dunno ._.;;
Lovely picture...

lol...well sometimes there's "holes."
actually, it's the same way i used to play GTA Vice City, just wandering around. so it's probably better that i play colossus, since fooling around in the landscape doesn't involve shooting people and trying to cause traffic jams so i can make a long chain reaction of explosions.
